My name is Alicia Puputti and I’m a recent grad from Boston University, where I majored in Communication (PR concentration) and minored in Political Science. This is my second blog; I abandoned the first one after the class that I had to write it for ended.
After graduating a couple years ago (well actually a few weeks before), I entered the “young professional” world with a full time job in PR. Before this job, I had many internships and worked as a server in multiple restaurants. I’m still trying to adjust to the real world, and I’m learning how to grow up and deal with rent, bills, and other fun stuff like that. I recently moved into a new apartment (it’s in Brookline and I absolutely love it), and I love ice cream, traveling, Starbucks, Disney World, and beaches.
My boyfriend Greg DiMarzio is also a frequent contributor to this blog. He recently graduated from Suffolk University and is entering the real world, looking for a Marketing position.
Even though were poor college students VERY POOR recent grads with limited travel funds, I plan to write about vacations because I have loved planning trips and traveling since before I can remember. Finding good deals on trips I can’t afford is also a hobby of mine. I’ve also shifted to write more about stuff in and around Boston because my travel time and funds are non-existent.

Enjoy,
Alicia Puputti

Being a recent graduate I definitely feel your pain! How did you travel on a budget?
